Privacy Policy

The data controller is Maria de Lurdes Correia Ribeiro, who operates the On Studios residence, at Rua Monsenhor Ferreira nºs 95/97, 4710-407 Braga.

For any question about your data, or to exercise the rights described below, write to booking@onstudios.me.

We only collect data when you book a viewing through the form on this site. At that point we ask for:

• Name — so we know who to expect and can address you by name.
• Email — to send you the booking confirmation and, if needed, to reschedule.
• Mobile (optional) — to reach you if something unexpected comes up on the day.
• Message (optional) — if you would like to ask something up front.

The legal basis is pre-contractual steps: this is the data needed to arrange the viewing you asked for. Without a name and an email we cannot confirm the booking.

We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not send you marketing.

To manage the viewing calendar and host the site we use three services, which act as processors and handle the data only for those purposes:

• Cal.com, Inc. (United States) — manages availability and records bookings.
• Google Ireland Limited — Google Calendar, where the viewing is scheduled.
• Vercel Inc. (United States) — hosts the site, processing the technical data inherent to any visit (such as the IP address), and stores the contract archive and authorised document copies in private storage, with access restricted to whoever manages the residence.

If, while preparing a contract, you authorise us to read your identity document so the fields can be filled in automatically, that image is sent to Anthropic for that reading only, and is discarded afterwards. We do not keep it unless you expressly authorise us to retain a copy — see the next section.

The transfer of data to the United States, in the case of Cal.com and Vercel, is covered by the contractual safeguards provided for in the GDPR. We do not share your data with anyone else, unless legally required to do so.

To enter into the contract we need to confirm your identity. You can do this in two ways, and the choice is yours:

• Show the original on check-in day, leaving us no copy — this is what clause 10.3 of the contract provides for.
• Authorise us to keep a copy, filed with your contract.

We only keep a copy if you expressly authorise it. Where one exists, it is filed with the contract, in private storage hosted on Vercel, with access restricted to whoever manages the residence, and it is deleted along with the rest of the contractual file. You may withdraw that authorisation and ask for the copy to be deleted at any time, without affecting the contract.

Booking data is kept for as long as needed to hold the viewing and for any contact arising from it, up to a maximum of 12 months after the viewing date. After that it is deleted.

If the viewing leads to an accommodation contract, that contract's data is then governed by the statutory retention periods for contractual and tax documents, which are longer.

At any time you may ask us for:

• Access — to know what data we hold about you.
• Rectification — to correct data that is wrong or incomplete.
• Erasure — to delete your data, where there is no legal obligation to keep it.
• Restriction and objection — to restrict or object to a given processing.
• Portability — to receive your data in a machine-readable format.

Just write to booking@onstudios.me. We reply within one month.

If you believe your data is not being handled as it should be, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Protecção de Dados.

This site uses no advertising or analytics cookies, and does not track you across sites. The map in the Location section is served by Google Maps, which may set its own cookies when you interact with it.

If this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page. If the change is substantial and affects data already collected, we notify those affected by email.
